Join us as we bring to life the work of author and historian, Dr. Miriam DeCosta-Willis, through the visual and educational exhibition of Notable Black Memphians.
Based on over ten years of archival research, interviews and correspondence, Notable Black Memphians is a work compiled of over 200 biographies of notable African Americans, born between 1795 - 1972, that strengthened the Memphis community through education, law, medicine, business and music.
